The logo below was taken from the handout to the Spencer Board
of Aldermen meeting.  Let's take this idea further and really
use the history of Southern Railway and apply it to the
new town park

Town of Spencer namesake - Samuel Spencer killed in train wreck

If Park has murals they should be based on Spencer's history
not modern sculpture.

Structures of all types built at Park should be based on
steel and rivets or bolts not bright and shiny aluminum.

These are murals at Savannah, Ga. Railroad Museum
Photos are along inside walls in roundhouse

Below are Spencer Shops Blacksmiths and steam
hammer operator/laborer photos that could be used in Park Murals.
Hundreds of photos are available for reproduction.

Southern Railway was known for their slogans
that could be used in Park design.

The concepts of the current design using Norfolk Southern Railroad
as a history is totally off base.  Spencer's history lies totally within
 Southern Railway bounds

Design should be based on SR map

Layout of Park courtyard should be SOU RR
 towns and terminals
